RPG Outfitter
RPG Outfitter character profiler is the awesomest thing ever!
Yes, there are other profiler sites/add ons out there. Yes, they all work ok. Yes, they all have their own benefits. I've tried many different character profiler sites, because I like to be able to look up my character when I'm talking to my friends at work, or when I'm logged into one character and I'm trying to remember how many of an item I have on my bank. I haven't found a single one that profiles everything in one place, except for RPGO.
What does it do for me?
* Character stats and current gear... check
* Skills... check
* Talents... check
* Reputation... check
* Honor... check
* Inventory... check (different views even... bank, bags, equipment, mail, everything all at once)
* Quests... check
* Recipes... check
Yeah, I think that covers just about everything. As if that wasn't good enough, it gets better!
You can set permissions on everything. Say you don't want Joe Schmoe to know your talent build so that you can surprise him on the battle field. Set your talents to Guild. Say you don't want everyone in the guild to know exactly how many different non-combat pets you have stashed in your bank. Set your bank to Private.
I think that the best thing about this profiler that beats everything else, is that there is also a guild profiler. If your guild is created on the site, every character with a profile is then reflected in the guild profile.
* Roster (with links to individual character profiles)
* Stats (a comparative list of everyone's stats)
* Honor (a comparative list of everyone's honor)
* Quests (a list of every quest held by a member of the guild and who is on it - especially helpful for finding groups for a quest or groups of quests)
* Reputation (a list of every reputation held by a member of the guild and everyone's status on it - helpful for seeing who's working on what rep if you want to help someone out)
* Talents (a comparative list of everyone's talent builds - and you can then compare individuals to see their specific builds)
* Professions (every profession and everyone's status on them)
* Vault (what our bank has in it)
* Bags (a list of each guild members bags and any bags that aren't equipped)
* Keys (a list of every key and who has it)
* Cards (a list of every Darkmoon card and who has it)
* ZG and AQ items (lists of every ZG and AQ item and who has them)
* History (guild join/leave history)
On top of that, you also get a dynamic signature (below) created automatically when your character is updated. You can also get a character paperdoll add on which will allow you to take a picture of your actual character to put in the character profile, like mine here. It also creates an avatar to use, like mine on this post.
Ok, so that's great and all, but how do I get it?
1. Create an account at the website.
2. Download the Character Profiler add on.
3. Load the add on and open up your recipes, bags, etc.
4. Log out of your character.
5. Upload your files to the website here. (You can also use UniUploader.)
6. Wait a couple of minutes and check your character list here.
If you want the character paperdoll as well, throw these steps in there:
1. Download the Character Paperdoll add on.
2. Open up your character screen and click "Save"
3. Then click "Pic" (Your character screen will get bigger)
4. Hit "Print Screen" on your keyboard.
5. Covert the image in Screenshots to .jpg (ConvertShots works fine)
6. Upload your files to the website here.
7. Select to use as avatar on their site and/or to apply to your character profile.
8. Save the avatar to your hard drive to upload to other sites.
If you're a guild master and you'd like your guild to show up, it just takes a few more steps on top of above:
1. Download the Guild Profiler add on.
2. Open up your guild list in game.
3. Upload your files to the website with your Character Profiler.
4. Register your guild with the site.
5. Your guild should be updated after a short while.
